Last night, our fearless leader was named to Earshot Jazz Magazine’s Hall of Fame. Former student Kelly Barr accepted on Mr. Brown’s behalf, before members of the Seattle jazz community at an awards ceremony held at Tula’s. Another Great Festival Weekend
JB3 went to the Viking Jazz Festival in Poulsbo and came away with 2nd in the 1A/2A division.
JB1 went to the Bellevue College Jazz Festival and came away with 1st place. And, our own Andrew Karboski’s composition had its world premier!
