Roosevelt Jazz Bands 2 and 3, under the direction of Michael Van Bebber, are the second and third instrumental jazz ensembles at Seattle’s Roosevelt High School. Jazz Band 2 meets after school three times a week and performs throughout the Pacific Northwest. Previous bands have won their division at the Clark College Jazz Festival and have been finalists at the Next Generation Jazz Festival. Jazz Band 3 meets after school twice a week, and performs at local concerts and festivals, such as the 2023 Bellevue High School Jazz Festival where it placed first in its division.
