The Roosevelt High School Jazz Program develops musical excellence and personal growth in an inclusive environment that welcomes all students willing to do the work, regardless of background or experience level. Through skill-based ensemble placement, we ensure every student contributes meaningfully while building technical skills, creative expression, and collaborative leadership. Our program honors jazz tradition while encouraging individual artistic voice, preparing students for lifelong musical engagement and success both on and off the bandstand.
