Stuart MacDonald and I would like to thank EVERYONE for your efforts in auditioning for Roosevelt Jazz! Many of you had clearly worked hard over the summer and came to the audition prepared and ready to swing! For those of you who were not placed in a group, or didn’t make the group you wanted…all we can say is KEEP WORKING and DIGGING INTO JAZZ. We’re all just part of a lifelong process. Nothing is etched in stone; if someone is greatly improving and is ready to move up during the year, we’ll remain open to that possibility. Also, please note that we have some key positions to fill, in Jazz Band III. Please spread the word and let’s get some musicians in those spots!
